Trust & Accountability

Quality Assurance at WeHouse

When you invest ₹30–80 lakhs in your home, vague promises are not enough. Every WeHouse project is backed by written warranties, documented checkpoints, and licensed inspections — because high-ticket decisions deserve categorical reassurance.

10-Year Coverage

Your Home's Structure is Covered for 10 Years. In Writing. With Process.

Why does a structural warranty matter? Because the fears are real — cracks spreading across load-bearing walls, uneven settlement that tilts your floors, waterproofing failures that turn your terrace into a pond, beam-column joint issues that compromise the entire frame. These are not cosmetic annoyances. They are life-safety and asset-value catastrophes that can cost lakhs to fix — if the builder is even around to answer your calls.

Most contractors offer verbal assurances that evaporate the day you collect your keys. WeHouse's 10-year structural warranty covers all of these fears — documented in a formal certificate, backed by a defined claims process, and honoured in writing from handover day.

What We Cover

  • RCC structure — foundation, columns, beams, and slabs
  • Terrace waterproofing executed during construction
  • Waterproofing of bathrooms done during construction
  • Structural cracks in load-bearing walls attributable to construction defects
  • Settlement-related damage traceable to foundation or structural execution

What Is Not Covered

Honesty builds credibility — we are explicit about exclusions.

  • Damage from natural disasters (earthquake, flood, cyclone)
  • Third-party modifications or client additions after handover
  • Non-structural finishing issues — paint peeling, tile chipping, hardware wear
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorised structural alterations

How to Claim — Four Steps

A clear process means no runaround when you need us most.

  1. 1

    Report the issue

Photo-document the defect and report via WhatsApp or your E-Monitoring dashboard.

  2. 2

    Engineer inspection

WeHouse sends a licensed engineer for on-site inspection within 7 working days.

  3. 3

    Remediation plan

If the defect is confirmed as warranty-covered, a remediation plan is shared within 14 days.

  4. 4

    Work at no charge

Approved warranty work is executed at zero cost to you — labour and materials included.

The Certificate

Every WeHouse handover includes a formal structural warranty certificate — not a WhatsApp message, not a line in a contract appendix. It names your project, defines the coverage period, and lists the structural elements protected. This is the document you show your bank, your insurer, and your future buyer.

Structural Warranty — FAQ

The warranty period begins on the official handover date — the day you receive your keys and the signed handover packet, including the warranty certificate.

Yes. The structural warranty transfers to the new owner for the remaining coverage period, provided no unauthorised structural modifications were made.

Structural defects affect load-bearing elements — foundation, columns, beams, slabs, or waterproofing membranes installed during construction. Paint, tiles, and hardware are finishing items and are not covered under the structural warranty.

We acknowledge claims within 48 hours, schedule a licensed engineer inspection within 7 working days, and share a remediation plan within 14 days of confirmed defect.

No. Approved warranty work — labour and materials — is executed at zero cost to you. You only maintain the property in normal condition and report issues promptly.

2-Year Coverage

2-Year Warranty on Your Home's Plumbing, Wiring, and Fittings.

MEP stands for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing — the invisible systems inside your walls that make your home livable. A beautiful living room means nothing if the wiring trips every week, the bathroom leaks into the bedroom below, or the exhaust fan dies in the first summer.

Most contractors give no warranty on MEP work. WeHouse covers all three for two full years after handover — because the systems you cannot see deserve the same accountability as the structure you can.

250+ Checkpoints

250+ Quality Checkpoints. Every Stage. Every Material. Every Sign-Off. Documented.

We don't do a final inspection at the end and hope everything is fine. At WeHouse, quality is built into every stage — with 250+ specific checkpoints from the day we break ground to the day we hand you the keys.

Each checkpoint is logged digitally in your E-Monitoring dashboard. You can see it. Your family can see it. We cannot hide anything.

Download a Sample Quality Checklist (PDF)

See exactly what WeHouse verifies at every stage — from excavation to handover. A person downloading a quality checklist is nearly ready to enquire. Get the sample and understand our rigour before you commit.

We respect your privacy. No spam — just the checklist and relevant build updates.

Independent Verification

Independent. Licensed. Accountable.

Your Home Inspected by People Who Report to You — Not to the Builder.

Self-inspection is a conflict of interest. When the same team that built your home also certifies its quality, accountability collapses. WeHouse engages licensed, independent professionals at critical construction stages — engineers who report findings directly into your E-Monitoring dashboard, with written reports you can share with your architect, banker, or future buyer.

Stage-Wise Inspection Schedule

Licensed inspections occur at these mandatory milestones — no stage proceeds without sign-off.

Inspection Report Format

Every licensed inspection produces a formal written report — not a verbal OK from the site supervisor. The formality of a documented report is reassuring: it names what was inspected, what passed, what failed, and what remediation is required before the next stage begins.
